OpenO&M Initiative Members
The OpenO&M initiative members are ISA, MESA, MIMOSA, OAGi, and the OPC Foundation.
ISA is a leading, global, nonprofit organization that is setting the standard for automation by helping members and other professionals solve technical problems, while enhancing their leadership and personal career capabilities. ISA develops standards; certifies industry professionals; provides education and training; publishes books and technical articles; and hosts conferences and exhibits for automation professionals. ISA88 standards committee on Batch Control Systems and ISA95 standards committee on Enterprise/Control Integration Committee represent ISA in this initiative.
MESA International is a global, not-for-profit community of manufacturers, producers and solution providers focused on improving operations management capabilities through the effective application of Information Technologies, IT-based solutions and supporting best practices.
MIMOSA is a not-for-profit trade association dedicated to developing and encouraging the adoption of open information standards in manufacturing, fleet, and facility environments - information standards which enable collaborative asset lifecycle management.
OAGi is a not-for-profit open standards development organization building a standard called the Open Applications Group Integration Specification (OAGIS). The OAGIS standard covers business data exchange requirements for B2B, for A2A, and also for enterprise to manufacturing and operations.
The OPC Foundation is dedicated to ensuring interoperability in automation by creating and maintaining open specifications that standardize the communication of acquired process data, alarm and event records, historical data, and batch data to multi-vendor enterprise systems and between production devices.
